Laundry Room Update

The laundry room is taking shape. A lot of little things that needed to be done. Sanding, Painting, Reinstalling trim, Cleaning...all that fun stuff.
Here's a peak on how it is coming along. The layout is different that I first wanted, but I really like the shelving that was a perfect fit next to the machines.

I am on the lookout for a table to use for clothes folding and storage.
I still have more trim to install and touch up painting to do, but the room is now clean and I actually like to do laundry here.

Source List:
Kenmore Machines from Sears
Drying Rack from Crate and Barrel
Chrome Shelving from Lowes
Laundry Baskets from Target
Rug from Target
Clear Bins from Walmart
Paint Silver Sea from Lowes Valspar
Flooring Dupont Laminate Antique Oak (discontinued)

P.S. Check out these other fun laundry rooms at Beneath My Heart Linky Party. I've linked up.

  2. I LOVE it! I love doing laundry anyway, but how awesome to have a table to fold on! The stainless steel shelving adds a gorgeous industrial touch. Need anyone to do some ironing?......

  14. Great to see that your laundry room has space in it for a clothes drying rack. We have decided to do without a dryer and air dry. We save a lot of money and our clothes last much longer than they would have other wise.

  16. Laundry rooms are becoming rooms many love to decorate - I think we spend so much time in them they deserve our creativity. Love yours! Thought you might like to check out mine.

  18. my laundry room is in trouble. first of all, the floor is RED GLASS TILE. yeah. hard to decorate with considering it's also a bathroom with BEIGE toilet, sink, and shower. also, there's a giant utility sink in the corner for everything from washing paint brushes to bathing the cat (she's too fat to bathe herself) and rinsing clothing. it's a disaster in there. i'd love to do something with it. it's low on my list of priorities right now, though. my appliances are similar to yours. i hadn't thought of stacking them.
